The baths
Indoor bath
A 1991 municipal health spa modelled on a European Kurhaus. The 'Bade zone' has a pour-over bath, bubble bath, full-body bath, jet bath, cascade bath (utase-yu), exercise bath and reclining bath, plus a walking pool and a tatami rest room outside the bathing area. Swimwear is used in the exercise zone.

- ¥700700 yen for adults (junior high school age and up), 350 yen for children, free under school age. The training room is a separate 310 yen and can be used without bathing. Closed every Tuesday (the following day if that is a public holiday).

- At 1-8-20 Hamawaki, next to Hamawaki Onsen and a few minutes' walk from JR Higashi-Beppu Station. 32 parking spaces; bathers get 3 hours free in the underground car park.
