The baths
Indoor bath
Two tubs since an October 2018 refit - a hot one (atsu-yu) and a lukewarm one (nuru-yu), so you can pick a temperature. Simple spring.

- Yes — you can bathe without staying overnight.6:30-25:00 (i.e. until 1:00 the next morning; closed 14:00-15:00 for cleaning)
- Day visit price
- ¥200200 yen for adults (junior high school age and up), 100 yen for children, free under school age. Closed the 3rd Monday of the month. Unusually for a municipal bath it stays open until 1:00 am.

- At 1-8-20 Hamawaki, a few minutes' walk from JR Higashi-Beppu Station (one stop south of Beppu). 14 shared parking spaces used jointly with the community hall and the Hamawaki Mall shopping street.
