- Getting there
- Above the Sho river in the Taira district of Nanto, in the Gokayama valley. The Nanto municipal bus stops right outside at Yuraku - but that bus does not run on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays, which is exactly when most travellers would want it, so plan on a car at weekends. By car it is about 23 minutes from the Gokayama interchange. There is a large tatami rest room and a restaurant on site.
