A one-inn open-air bath at the very head of the Kurobe Gorge, with no road to it and nothing around it but the gorge. Only two axes are scored because the inn has been unreachable since the 2024 earthquake and there is no current basis for judging the water, the upkeep or the view. Treat this entry as a note that the place exists and is closed, not as a recommendation.

Do not plan a visit in 2026. The inn is a 20-minute walk from Keyakidaira, the terminus of the Kurobe Gorge Railway, and that is its only access. Rockfall damage from the January 2024 Noto earthquake closed the upper line; as of early September 2026 trains still turn back short of Keyakidaira, and the railway will only reopen the full line on 1 October 2026. Even then the operator is keeping the walking area around Keyakidaira closed for continuing repair work, so visitors will not be able to leave the station building and visitor centre. The inn itself says its own opening is still undecided and depends on the railway.
Staying overnight: Yes
Getting there: A one-inn hot spring about 20 minutes on foot from Keyakidaira, the last stop on the Kurobe Gorge Railway. There is no road. Access has been cut since the January 2024 Noto earthquake damaged the line above Kanetsuri; the railway announced that full Unazuki-Keyakidaira services resume on 1 October 2026, but the walking area beyond Keyakidaira station and visitor centre stays closed for repair work, and boarding numbers for Keyakidaira are capped and bookable by phone only. Check both the railway and the inn before planning anything.
