A free single-tub neighbourhood bath in the Myoban hamlet, filled with the same milky, strongly acidic water as the sulphur baths next door. Tiny, plain and looked after by local residents, with two parking spaces and no facilities at all - go in knowing that is the point.

Indoor bath

One indoor tub each for men and women. Milky-white, strongly acidic simple spring - the same water family as the neighbouring Jizosen.

In the Myoban district at 3-kumi Myoban. Buses 5 or 41 from JR Beppu Station west exit (about 26 min, 360 yen) or bus 24 from the east exit (about 30 min, 440 yen), get off at Myoban. Only 2 parking spaces.
