A rebuilt municipal bathhouse beside Kaimonji Park with two tubs at different temperatures, which makes it the gentlest introduction to Beppu's famously scalding communal baths. Entirely step-free with a bathing wheelchair available, but it is a bath and nothing more: no view, no rest room.

Indoor bath

Two indoor tubs at different temperatures, atsu-yu (hot) and nuru-yu (lukewarm) - unusually approachable for visitors not used to Beppu's very hot water. Whole building is step-free with a bathing wheelchair available.
