Not a hot spring - the water is groundwater from 150 m down, steeped in mineral ore and heated - and the 550 yen you pay is the regulated public-bathhouse rate. What makes it worth the entry here is the answer in its own FAQ: tattoos are fine, because a licensed public bathhouse admits anyone. Eight tubs and two saunas, near Nagoya Station, evenings only on weekdays and closed Wednesdays. If you have ink and want a bath in Nagoya, this is the one we can point at with a citation.

Eight tubs and two saunas. The water is groundwater drawn from about 150 m down, steeped in mineral ore and then heated - a sento bath rather than a legally designated hot spring, despite the name.

Practical details

Day visits: Yes — you can bathe without staying overnight.
Weekdays 15:00-24:00; Sundays 08:00-12:00 (morning bath) and 15:00-24:00. Closed Wednesdays.
Day visit price: ¥550
550 yen for an adult, or 730 yen with the sauna. Elementary-school children 200 yen (380 yen with sauna), pre-school children 100 yen. This is the regulated public-bathhouse rate for Aichi, not a leisure-spa price.
Staying overnight: No
Getting there: A neighbourhood bathhouse in Biwajima, Nishi Ward, which the house describes as close to Nagoya Station. Open evenings only on weekdays, with a Sunday morning bath, and closed on Wednesdays.
