The Pacific fills the window: a stone open-air bath and a view bathing hall on the headland by Inubosaki lighthouse, five minutes on foot from Inubo Station. The water is a strong sodium chloride brine drawn from fossil seawater 1,300 m down, with one free-flowing tub. Day visitors are welcome without booking, but tattoos are asked to stay out of the baths and there is no private bath to fall back on.

A large stone-built open-air bath with a pouring spout, a lie-down jacuzzi and a rock tub, facing the Pacific.

Yes — you can bathe without staying overnight.
Mondays and Tuesdays 15:00-21:00; Wednesday to Friday 12:00-21:00; weekends and public holidays 09:00-21:00. Last reception 20:00. No booking needed - go straight to the front desk.
Day visit price
¥1,200
1,200 yen for adults and 700 yen for children on weekdays; 1,500 yen and 900 yen at weekends and on public holidays. A towel set is 100 yen extra. Soap, shampoo, skincare and a hairdryer are provided.

Five minutes on foot from Inubo Station on the Choshi Electric Railway, on the headland beside Inubosaki lighthouse. Choshi is reached from Tokyo on the JR Sobu line.
