The town's own bathhouse, run by Chikushino City, and at 250 yen the cheapest way into a spring that has been in use since the Nara period. Plain indoor tubs, no view, but there is a large tatami hall upstairs if you pay the 550 yen combined ticket, and the station is ten minutes away on foot. Note the October 2026 renovation closure before you plan around it.

Indoor baths only - the city's own facility outline lists an entrance hall, lobby, bathroom, large tatami hall and meeting rooms, with no open-air or private bath.

9:00-21:30 (last entry 21:00); rest hall 9:30-17:00. Closed the 3rd Wednesday of the month (in April and September also the day before) and on January 1.

¥250
250 yen for the bath alone; 550 yen if you also want the tatami rest hall (children 130 / 280 yen). Groups of 15 or more pay 450 yen including the rest hall. IMPORTANT: the city has announced that Gozen-yu closes for renovation from October 1 to October 24, 2026 and reopens on October 25, 2026.

About a 10-minute walk from Futsukaichi Station on the JR Kagoshima Main Line; the Futsukaichi Onsen bus stop is right outside. There is no car park of its own, but the municipal Daimon Kokashita car park is 5 minutes away on foot and free for the first four hours.
