The gentler of Arifuku's bathhouses: the same 400 yen alkaline water, held at a lower temperature, which makes it the practical choice if 46C baths are not for you. Small, plain and indoor-only, with no rest space - you bathe and move on to the next bathhouse. Closed Fridays, which is worth checking against Gozenyu's Tuesday and Satsukiyu's Thursday if you are planning a day of bath-hopping.

The coolest of Arifuku's three bathhouses, so the one to choose for a long soak - the operator's own advice is to watch you do not overdo it while bath-hopping. Same slippery alkaline water as the others.

400 yen from junior-high age up, 200 yen for primary-school children, free for younger children - the same as the other two Arifuku bathhouses. A hairdryer, shampoo and body soap are provided.

About 30 minutes by bus from either JR Hamada or JR Gotsu Station, getting off at Arifuku Onsen, then roughly 3 minutes on foot. All three bathhouses are within a couple of minutes of each other in the village.
