The third of Arifuku's 400 yen bathhouses, at a middling temperature between the hot Gozenyu and the cool Yayoiyu. Small, indoor, no rest area and no view - its value is that with three bathhouses a few minutes apart, this village is one of the few places in Shimane where bath-hopping on foot actually works. It closes on Thursdays.

The baths

Indoor bath

The middle one of Arifuku's three bathhouses by temperature - the operator describes it as comfortably warm rather than hot or cool. Same slippery, clear alkaline water fed straight from the spring.
