A municipal bath and inn deep in the Suifu highlands, close to the Ryujin Great Suspension Bridge, with two halls that swap daily between men and women, one with an open-air bath and one with a sauna. You can also stay the night with two meals from 10,450 yen. The setting is genuinely remote mountain country, which is the point, but the flip side is that there is no usable bus and you will need a car. No spring analysis and no tattoo policy are published.

Adults from outside the city pay 800 yen on weekdays, 1,000 yen at weekends and on public holidays, and 700 yen in the evening; city residents pay 100 yen less in each band. Primary-school children 400 / 500 / 300 yen.

At 1629 Kegano-cho, Hitachiota City, in the Suifu highlands near the Ryujin Great Suspension Bridge. There is no practical public transport; visitors drive, roughly 40 minutes north of Hitachi-Ota Station.
