A town-run bath attached to a roadside farm stand in the mountains of Ogano, the cheapest in this Chichibu list. The water is an alkaline simple spring at pH 9.2 - gentle rather than distinctive. There is a rest area and a canteen, which after a recent refit you can enter without taking your shoes off. Reachable by the town bus from Seibu-Chichibu, but services are few, so check the timetable before you go.

Every onsen on this site is scored against the same written rubric, and every score has been reviewed by the editor. The ones marked Visited were also bathed in personally.
