- Yes — you can bathe without staying overnight.10:00-20:00 from 1 April to 30 November, 10:00-19:00 from 1 December to 31 March. Closed on Thursdays (open when Thursday is a public holiday, with no substitute closing day). Reopened on 18 July 2025 after maintenance work.

- ¥800Adults (junior-high age and over) 800 yen on weekdays, 900 yen at weekends, on public holidays and on special days (year-end, Golden Week, Obon).

- Getting there
- Part of the Otaki Onsen roadside station in the upper Arakawa valley. From Mitsumineguchi Station (end of the Chichibu Railway) take a Seibu Kanko Bus heading up the valley and get off at Otaki Onsen Yutokan, right outside (a secondary listing gives about 16 minutes). Some express buses from Seibu-Chichibu Station also stop here.

Why not the train: the last leg to an onsen is usually a local bus with nowhere to put a suitcase. A fixed-price car is booked in English and quoted before you travel, tolls and fuel included.
