A local bathhouse rather than a resort, and the closest thing Okinawa has to a mainland super-sento: a hinoki tub, bubble and lying-down baths, a far-infrared sauna and a low-temperature salt sauna, with an open-air bath laid out in a Japanese garden that feels distinctly out of place on the island - in a good way. There is a relaxation room and a tea house, so an afternoon here is easy at 1,500 yen. The setting is suburban Ginowan behind a Don Quijote, and the official site does not publish an analysis certificate, so the water is taken on trust.
