The baths
Indoor bath
Separate men's and women's public baths on the ground floor, using Wakura's saline hot spring water.
Private (kashikiri) bath
Three private open-air baths with a view exist, but the hotel states they are under repair for the time being because of earthquake damage. Treat the private baths as unavailable until the hotel says otherwise - which matters if you were counting on them as a way around a tattoo rule.
A private bath means nobody else is in the water with you — often the practical answer if the shared baths are closed to tattooed guests.

- One of the ryokan in Wakura Onsen that has reopened since the 2024 Noto earthquake, on the hillside above Nanao Bay, reached from JR Wakuraonsen Station. The hotel notes a maintenance closure from 20 to 24 December 2026. Expect construction traffic and seawall works around the resort.
