The baths
Open-air bath
An open-air rock bath and an open-air cypress bath. NO MT FUJI VIEW from the baths: the building sits in chestnut and cypress woodland on the Ishiwari-yama approach and the operator describes the courtyard and surrounding trees, not Fuji. The Fuji-and-lake scenery in the operator's tagline refers to the drive up.
Indoor bath
Large indoor bath, lying bath, cool source bath and sauna, under a timber frame of Yamanashi chestnut and cypress.

- Yes — you can bathe without staying overnight.11:00-19:00 (last entry 18:15). Closed Wednesdays and Thursdays.

- ¥900900 yen for adults, 700 yen junior/senior high, 350 yen elementary school, free below. Includes the 150 yen bathing tax. Admission is charged whether or not you use the baths. Private rest rooms can be hired, but they contain no bath of their own.

- At 1450 Hirano, Yamanakako village (山中湖村平野1450), on the east side of Lake Yamanaka near the Ishiwari-yama trailhead. Free parking for 150 cars; realistically a car is needed.
