Open-air bath
MT FUJI VIEW: the open-air baths look straight at Mt Fuji, close up and unobstructed, from the north side of Lake Yamanaka. The operator states every tub in the house sees Fuji.

Indoor bath
Also Fuji-facing: a wide indoor bath with a bubble bath and jet baths, plus a Fuji-view lounge ('Beni Terrace') for after the bath. Highly alkaline simple spring, pH 10.3.

- Yes — you can bathe without staying overnight.Weekdays 11:00-19:00 (last entry 18:15) / Sat, Sun & holidays 11:00-20:00 (last entry 19:15). Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

- ¥900900 yen for adults, 700 yen for junior/senior high students, 350 yen for elementary school, free below that. Includes the 150 yen bathing tax for adults. No weekday/weekend price split.

- On the north shore of Lake Yamanaka at 865-776 Yamanaka, Yamanakako village (山中湖村山中865-776), about 15 min by bus or car from the Yamanakako-Asahigaoka bus terminal; roughly 2 hours from Shinjuku by highway bus to Lake Yamanaka. A car or bus is required.
