Indoor bath
A rare bath fed by spring water welling up directly through the rock floor of the bathhouse - the operator calls it ganban-yushutsusen (岩盤湧出泉). Mixed-gender rules and etiquette are strict; read the official 'howto' page before going.

- Yes — you can bathe without staying overnight.10:00-14:00 reception for the main sessions, closing 17:00; bath-only entry accepted 15:00-16:00. Closed every Thursday and for the whole of February.
- Day visit price
- ¥1,5001,500 yen is the bath-only rate, accepted only between 15:00 and 16:00 (hand towel included). The standard experience is a reserved place on the 'yudoko' bathing floor: 2,000 yen for 2 hours, 3,200 yen for 4 hours, 5,600 yen for a full day. Children (4 to elementary) 1,000 yen. Private rooms 6,000-10,000 yen for 4 hours.

- 110-1 Motohakone, Hakone-machi, in the Ubako area near Ubako Station on the Hakone Ropeway. Parking for about 10 cars; a car or the ropeway plus a walk is needed.
