Indoor baths fed by a 100% natural hot spring drawn from a layer that was sea floor about 1.5 million years ago.
Open-air bath
Open-air area on the 8th floor of the building, with a genuine source-fed (kakenagashi) tub.

Why not the train: the last leg to an onsen is usually a local bus with nowhere to put a suitcase. A fixed-price car is booked in English and quoted before you travel, tolls and fuel included.
