The baths
Indoor bath
Oyuya 'Gyokkei-no-yu' on 2F: source-flow indoor bath with dry sauna and cold plunge for both men and women, 15:00-25:00 and 5:00-10:00. A separate free artificial-carbonated bath is also on 2F.
Open-air bath
Large open-air bath 'Kagaribi-no-yu' surrounded by trees and lit at night; same hours as the main bath.
Private (kashikiri) bath
Three private open-air baths 'Mori-no-yu' (Kangetsu, Manten, Hanagasumi). FREE and NO reservation: walk in when the lamp shows vacant, roughly 40 minutes, max 2 people. STAYING GUESTS ONLY. 15:00-25:00 and 5:00-10:00. No showers, and stairs lead down to them.
In-room bath
ALL guest rooms have a private open-air bath, but the official site states the in-room bath is NOT hot-spring water.
A private bath means nobody else is in the water with you — often the practical answer if the shared baths are closed to tattooed guests.

- One minute on foot from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Railway, so no shuttle and no car are needed. Free parking for 79 cars is available for those driving.
